Nice surprise.

I noticed the butterflies were active in the garden so i popped out for another go at the elusive inflight shot.. while i was out there this female southern hawker (feel free to correct me if im wrong) was being quite nosy.

It would swoop down really close to me and follow me around the garden. IT then landed for a split second which i took this picture... ITs not the angle i was hoping for but nevermind, was quite impressed it was in focus for the little time it was there before the butterflies swopped down on it again..

I can hear young birds (i think its birds) in the neighbours bushes that surround their pond. At first i thought it was guinea pigs but its too musical for that.....i think. I am so tempted to go have a peek but will see if its still going tomorrow. Before i go explore. Can't have them being scared off now can we.

Older two children went back to school today YAY. only for an hour though lol back properly tomorrow then dd3 is back on monday and libbie and I will have a bit of peace again.
