Room with a view

It was lovely to wake up to the sunshine this morning. This is the view from my hospital bed. I had my hip replacement on Tuesday afternoon

When I took the photo, I hadn't done more than stand yesterday. As I write this, I have started to work with sticks and even made a start on stairs. They are brilliant staff, so encouraging and patient.
