Coober Pedy

Our last night in the Northern Territory and our last night in the outback. It's been fun and great to see, but it will be a bit of a relief to leave this huge, empty and intimidating area.

A stop over in Coober Pedy, a small mining town. Opal is the main export of this place. We toured an opal mine run by a man from Flotta in Orkney. He must have spoken to us for 30 minutes about people from Shetland and bars in Aberdeen.
