Spring green
Finally it's Spring! My favourite time of the year. I always look forward to Spring. Not quite the same without a garden at the new house but I've enjoyed the changes along the street in the last few days. There's been a sudden outbreak of flowers and Ben's enjoying spotting them when we walk. There's daisies, cherry blossom and masses of clover flowers (amongst the 4 leaf clovers, we found 2 big ones today). Haven't spotted any daffs or freesias yet but the jasmine smells great when we walk past.
Today we took the camera with us and Alex took photos of flowers all the way home. I showed him how to use macro. He got some nice shots but I think he had trouble seeing what he was photographing with his sunglasses on. The polarising effect makes the LCD screen go black and he wouldn't try taking his sunglasses off.
I left the flowers to him but borrowed the camera back for a shot of some fresh foliage. I love the bright green new spring growth, especially when it's backlit.
