Fall is on it's way! This is the first night I have lit the "chandelier", with new candles, on the dining porch and you can see how dark it is outside - there is just a bit of sunset left. I guess we are usually finished with dinner earlier, but friends came by on their boat so we had a nice leisurely dinner, bundled up in several shirts, but resisting long pants. :-) I hope to collect some more antlers for this - 3 are deer from the island, the closest one is reindeer from Norway (brought home in my suitcase, found on a hike in the hills...)
August 31. today we also lost our TV programing - our little tv that gets 2 channels with it's rabbit ears won't make it with the new digital system. H will figure out something - he can't be without any TV news at all...
