Cavernous

It's the only appropriate word to describe the amount of bass that was knocking around the Liquid Rooms last night at the James Blake gig. Bits of the building were shaking, quite literally. And James and his two band members were on great form, a lot of the album tracks were opened out considerably and the whole sound was rather on the large sound. Great stuff. A couple of other blippers have mentioned this gig already and I'll concur with both of them in their analysis.

Today, well it's all been about the new Grouper 7" single, one of those releases that's limited as all hell and I've got to admit that by the time I'd even heard there was a new Grouper 7" it had sold out already. Luckily, in this digital age, the download was still available to buy and I've been indulging in the utter loveliness of it quite a lot over the course of the day. Blissful.
