Baltimore Family

We made a quick, 30-hour trip to Baltimore (by air) to visit our new granddaughter, Ella (11 weeks), and her family. It was brief mainly because they have been without power (due to hurricane Irene) since Saturday, but it was a wonderful visit just the same.

Here we are heading out for dinner, with my son Len, his wife Luciana and her mother (both from Brazil), their daughters Ella and Tuira, and my wife Marylee.

I'm backblipping this next day from Northampton (the lack of power deprived Len of his internet connection--particularly serious since he works on a free-lance basis from home). Ella stars in Wednesday's blip.
