The Drugs DO Work

After three days of agony I finally succumbed to visiting the hospital to get my rib checked out following a stumble I had on Friday night / Saturday morning. Apparently Ibuprofen Gel does 'diddly squat' (NHS Official Opinion) and I was given a cocktail of pain killers to finally get me some sleep - they worked and now I have a dull throbbing pain that is just about manageable instead of a sharp throbbing pain that was doing my head in!
