Weeds! Better Big

Oh dear, our garden has been really neglected this year. Didn't even plant up my tubs. I blame the weather. It's been so miserable virtually ALL the time (sunshine counted in hours rather than days!) and we've had so much other stuff on, that the motivation just wasn't there.

Haven't sat out on the decking with a g&t, haven't entertained outside, haven't even sat reading a book to the sound of birdsong. A real wash out summer. Given that this will be our last summer in this house, that makes me a wee bit sad.

Never mind eh? At least the weeds are blippable! :)

Little update on how well the diet is going (or not as the case may be!)

I am sorry to say that the salad is still languishing in the salad drawer. And the steak pie D bought yesterday wasn't just any steak pie with any old puff pastry topping. Oh no, he bought the deluxe extra chunky steak and gravy entombed in a shortcrust pastry case with puff pastry lid steak pie!

And we polished off the choc puds - with cream - for afters!!! Oh the shame!

Tonight we will just be licking the pattern on the dinner plates for tea. Ho hum.
