Fluff and Felt

My mother-in-law is a textile artist specialising in felt work. Today she is clearing out her studio and tipped a box of felt bits on to the floor to be sorted through.

With her back turned, Hobbs, the out door cat, ceased his opportunity to lie somewhere soft and warm.

When he was eventually lifted off the pile (obviously he was reluctant to leave on his own grounds), he was a multi coloured tangle of fluff and felt.
