Aladdin's cave

Spent some time today in my local antique store. I love this place for its unexpected treasures. I always learn something new. Today I found this intriguing box in a dark and dusty corner. It's a pigeon clock, for marking the return time of racing pigeons. The clocks are all opened together to see which bird Got back first.
I like the way it looks like an eye, a beady pigeon eye maybe...
