"Crabbing Bee"

I remember when I was a little girl, my mom got together with a group of ladies and had a "sewing bee". They all sat around and sewed and chatted.

Looking out the window during dinner, in the town of Florence this evening, we saw a group of four ladies, obviously locals, sitting in a circle of chairs out on the dock. They had a bucket of water and one washed her hands in it. We wondered what they were doing until one got up and pulled a crab pot out of the water. Most of the time, they sat around chatting and obviously enjoying each others company a great deal. That little cluster to the right of the flowers...that's them.

My beloved and I took a road trip today and planned our blips together because my Variations on Wonky montage today was represented well by his lovely photo. His write up is extra special today too. I planned to blip my montage here, but this little group of ladies on the dock stole my heart.
