what the...?

Went for a lovely walk in native bush up the Pororari River and found this fella peering out of a grotto! Made me laugh. Just a matter of time before a greenie with no sense of humour decides this is not appropriate for a national park...? Or perhaps it will look better in someone's garden!

We walked for 3 hours and didn't get wet... the rain started just as we ate lunch in the comfort of our accommodation. It didn't last long, and wasn't "real" rain, West Coast style

Off to the local for dinner tonight ;-)
