What a day

Has had one hell of a day..

Had to deal with a staff member who massively broke our safety policy.. Yet can't seem to see how he did it.. Worst thing is, this guy is one who I actually thought was good at the job & knew his stuff, & he is a guy I had a lot of respect for..

Discipling staff members is something all managers have to go through.. & it never gets any easier.. I have spoken to other managers & they say that if you have ever got to a stage where it gets easy then that's a time to worry.

This has been playing on my mind, all day, ever since the incident happened. Normally this kind of problem would go straight to my boss, but they are on leave.. So the buck has fallen with me.. This is the first time I have deputised for the boss, & has had that been playing on my mind for the past week or so... The stress of today made me walk in wrong direction when walking to the head office, I picked up my laptop bag & left one office to go to the other office, only to leave the laptop in the previous office. I didn't even realise in the 20min journey that my bag was too light!

That was work, about my personal life.. Well that's a minefield that I ain't even gonna step onto..

Basically what I'm trying to say is I'm a little bit stressed at the moment.. A little bit panicked too..

I think if I saw a doctor I may have a little blood high pressure..

The only good part of my day really, was that Arsenal have signed two players!
