Wave dodging

This girl was shouting to her friends saying she was 'a wave dodging expert', but to me she just seemed a bit stupid, even though this wave was quite small.
Usually the result is just a drenching, though sometimes the dodgers run in front of cars avoiding a soaking.
But I've been there when people have been swept into the sea, and they don't come out alive...if they ever come out at all. The sea is too wild, the currents with the waves like a washing machine on fast spin.
So by all means come and enjoy watching the mighty waves at Scarborough, but be warned...
