Wood Owl
A trip to Fairburn Ings with the Pentax and telephoto lens led to all sorts of frustration. I was messing with manual setting Aperture Priority and depth of field, as well as trying to capture some of the bird-life. All hand held and all disappointing. So out came the wider angle lens .
The wooden owl was very obliging whilst I messed around.
The Ings are a RSPB site not far from home. I'm not a twitcher by any means but can appreciate a well groomed feather or two.
Uploading this whilst listening to Tennis and their new album Cape Dory All very waltzy and reminds me of time spent at the Rollerena as a child. I could probably still do a Spread Eagle Waltz to most of the tracks on Cape Dory,
