Chaos

There was pandemonium at Euston Station this morning, due to a freight train going on fire at Milton Keynes, resulting in delays into and out of London. I was one of the lucky ones, only being delayed by half an hour. Some people had been waiting hours, only to find that some were cancelled.
By chance, I bumped into a lady I knew from Liverpool, so we chatted for quite a while, waiting for our respective trains to be called and this passed the time. The worst thing was that as I got off the train at Chester to board the train to North Wales the guard, seeing all the people rushing across for it, blew the whistle and away it went!! He was called some names!

Anyway - home now safe and sound after a lovely week-end with the DP's. Thanks so much for your hospitality and ferrying around. A very enjoyable ( if somewhat hectic!) week-end. I can rest up all this week :)
