Who's in Jail & who's just visiting?

We had the pleasure of Euan's company for a while today as Ali had some work to catch up on. Every day and in every way he is changing, growing, learning. Take your eyes off him for a second and he is across the room and hiding behind a chair! Here he has zoomed through to the kitchen to say hello to Rona. R was behind the gate temporarily while E got his nappy changed. You do not need a curious dog around for that task! The gate was opened and R charged through to check out E's toys before trying to lie down on E's changing mat. While we would never leave any child alone with any dog, I am sure that these two (plus Isla, of course) will get along just fine and be big buddies!
As some are grumbling about the summer weather, I must let you know that we have had a pretty reasonable day so far. There was just a spot of rain this morning and we have seen quite a bit of that big yellow ball in the sky this afternoon. Nice!
