Hurricane Irene

Well, by the time it reached us, it was no longer a hurricane. it was a tropical Storm!!
Winds of 40 mph (70kph) with some gusts up to 60mph (100kph) and lots of rain.

while the damage to our neighborhood was minimal, some down trees and lots of debris. Staying inside was the safest thing to do, so we broke out the puzzles...

we finished this one really late, close to midnight, the kids stayed up.... they were excited and wanted to finish, this one is a valentine theme 350 piece puzzle! we had a blast doing it.
we'll do it again on our next rainy day!
