blackberry patch

this afternoon we returned yet again to the endless berry patch from heaven, this time prepared with quite a lot of sunlight still in the day. the type of patch you can pick for hours without making more then a small dent in the bounty. we left full of scratches, berry stains on both fingers and clothes, and pure northern joy!

my freezer and pantry shelf are soon to be filled with blackberries and jam, prefect reminders of august to enjoy all winter long.
