Doughnut?

The sun is shining and we have good friends and family, and the seaside.

The mini Pinks didn't do a whole lot of sleeping last night due to the bunk bed situation but they were still full of energy and ready to play when we had filled on cooked breakfast and apple juice!

We met up with our friends and went for a play on the beach. We found some shells and "special stones" to fill up pockets with. And then went for some lunch and freshly made doughnuts at "jonny's Doughnuts".

After lunch we followed the duck feet prints along the seafront taking in the play areas along the play trail. Master Pink had lots of fun trying all the games out. We stopped at the play area for Master Pink to have a play on the climbing frames, while the more grown up amongst us went along the path a bit for a drink in Britain's smallest pub in the signal box on the railway. We went and met up with the others and had a quick drink before boarding the train back to the seafront. Master Pink was VERY excited to go on the train, and I rather enjoyed it too.

Miss Pink having been asleep for most of the walk woke up to wave at us while we were on the train. We popped back to the hotel and then went for a big sunday dinner in a local pub. Master Pink was very pleased as he loves roast dinners.

The plan was for me to meet up with our friends for a drink after the mini pinks had settled for the night. But at 11pm Miss Pink was still running around the bedroom shouting "morning" to her mummy and Daddy!!
