(I've backblipped for yesterday - check out Katie's new skill!)

It's been lovely today! Bank Holiday Monday and the sun has shone - how odd!! We started the morning out with some nice time with Granny and Grandad (we stayed with them last night). She has been enjoying very gently playing with Uncle Simon's little ukele and is getting good at plucking it and holding it properly.

We then got in the car and drove to see our friends Vicki and Stuart in Bridlington. She's had a really great time there. She spent lots of time sat at the book shelf going through lots of Vicki's great collection of childrens books (shes a reception teacher). She was very carefully playing at the piano, one key at a time (unlike Stuart, who was going for the "bash and crash" approach!) She tried to play with Pickle-cat, but Pickle-cat wasn't convinced.

We had a very lovely swim in Vicki's hot tub. Katie was a bit taken aback that it was nice and warm at first! She played with the ducks, the cups, bounced on the middle (it's inflatable!) before she got out and ran around the garden with Stuart. She was water painting - cleaning their little garden lights, painting the fance, and trying to see Pickle.

We got out and she went upstairs with Vicki to try see Pickle. Pickle eventually realised she had no intention of hurting her. The two of them spent ages just watching each other, Katie stroking her sometimes, chatting to her. When Katie came downstairs, Pickle even followed her to stay with her. We had a late lunch, indoor barbecue as it was getting a bit chilly. Katie ate some, but her and Pickle were having too much fun!

After lunch, we were having a drink and biscuit so were watching a bit of television. Stuart put on Total Wipeout. Katie thought it was fantastic! They have Sky+ which is just as well as she was insisting on watching "more more fall off". She had us in stitches as she thought it was brilliant when they fell off stuff!

(BTW Title isnt a Typo. Katie calls her Bicki. She can say Vicki but seems to have nicknamed her Bicki as she thinks its funny!)
