Bird's Nest

After the seminar today, I made my way to the Bird's Nest along with 2 other friends to see the grounds where Jamaica has made history in Beijing with several medals being won by our athletes here at the 2008 Olympics. The National Stadium (Bird's Nest) is a phenomenal piece of architecture and to top it off, it lights up at night. The communications tower and Aquatics Centre (Water Cube) also come alive at night. I am so glad I took the time to see these in Beijing.
