Magic Seeds

I helped C plant a mini garden of edible plants on Monday and look how much they've grown already!! She must've slipped some steroids into the soil of something :)

I signed up to go on the peach picking orientation trip today with C and a bunch of first years, but since Hurricane Irene is supposed to hit us at any moment, we went to Legacy Place instead. It was basically an outdoor mall. This morning, the weather was gorgeous and I couldn't understand why we hadn't gone peach picking. By the time we got to Legacy, it was starting to rain.

The rain wasn't too bad, so C and I decided to walk about a mile away to the Petco to purchase some guppies. Of course, it started to pour, complete with thunder and lightning, on our way there and I understood why we didn't go peach picking.

At night, I went to a comedy show on campus starring an alum, Erin Judge! She was pretty funny and obviously knew good Wellesley-related jokes :) Before going to bed, I made sure my windows were shut tight so Irene can't get me tomorrow!
