Powerscourt House and Gardens...

Took the family to see Powerscourt today, haven't been there in years! Well worth the trip, the gardens are fantastic, huge trees, walled gardens full of herbaceous borders and what not. Also has a very nice Japanese garden.

On the way home we stopped off at Greystones where we used to live and paid a visit to old friends. Unfortunately I was saddened to hear of the passing of an old friend Victor Cromien. I used to do some work for him and he was a real gent. Couldn't meet a nicer man. God be good to him!
