LOOKING BACK!

I had the stupid idea to ask my man to take my for a ride to see all the damages that Irene has caused. I feel very sorry for all the beautiful trees that fell down and for the people that their houses got damaged.
The house had some damages too, but the most important thing is that, I know that my children are OK and we too! I love the view that reflects on my jeep, but the true is that I was horrified because the road was flooded and I felt like the water was pushing the jeep to the side.
It is a horrible feeling to be with without power for sooooo many hours! My man was so happy because I acomplished so many things in the house and spend lots of time with him!
It does not bother me if for few days I don't have washer machine, dryer, tv, or stove but What kind of life is that without a cell, no phone, , NO AC, no hot water, NO MUSIC, no microwave and NO COMPUTER and NO INTERNET! I was the happiest woman alive tonight whe I saw the lights turn on!
