Castles and dirty rascals
The boys spent the morning playing football and badminton (well, a game using shuttlecocks and tatty badminton racquets) in the front garden of the cottage, while the rest of us read the papers.
After a walk down to the village to feed a friendly goat (which didn't, as he'd feared, eat George's clothes) we had lunch ourselves - followed by a short stroll through the woods.
The moss-covered limestone outcrop made a spectacular castle.
