Christening Day

Such a precious gift she is! I know that her namesakes, My wonderful mother (in-law), Violet and Nik's grandmother, Edna are somewhere watching this day with joy and gladness and I hope that they will continue to watch over her all her life.

Violet is wearing the Christening dress that I wore sixty-seven years ago and that my mother told me was hers when she was christened. That means it is at least 105 years old! Someday, maybe, some other new arrival will also wear it!
