And here she lies..............

Our Duchess from yesterdays blip left Oatland Place in 1820. She relocated just a mile down the road to St James Church.

Here she lies, surrounded by larger and more ornate graves than hers, but with something no other grave has in this graveyard.

Surrounded by railings there are, on each corner, and one halfway along each longer side, a series of six coronets, the denotion of a royal grave. The engraving is wearing away. Unreadable in some parts and greatly faded even where apparent. The coronets will be the last trace of a royal resting place.

That is, of course, until they wear away as well.
