Wet BBQ

What an interesting and fun day its been today. I woke up and I couldn't get back to sleep because the air vents were howling with the wind. Not a great day for a bbq!

I did some gardening in the morning, putting some more decorative stones out by the tree circle. I took the barbeque station out at 12.30pm, so far so good, no rain. An hour into our barbeque, it started to spit... and it only got worse. We had no choice but to turn and retreat back into the house, before we did that, we had to cook all the food and keep it warm in the oven before the rain bucketed. We had to bring the parasol over to provide shelter to the bbq as the rain started to put the heat out.

It was an experience, certainly never barbequed under a parasol before!
