Dutch landscape

This is the country side I grew up in - flat meadow land with little waterways to manage the water levels, always with a church spire to be spotted on the horizon.

I took this shot from the motorway, driving home (well Bert drove, I was the passenger) to Antwerp. That explains why the gate in the forefront of the shot is not quite focussed. We took the girls to my parents for the last few days of their school holiday. I have to start at the British school tomorrow...
