Rusty River

Fancied a walk but the weather was looking mixed so we thought we'd stay relatively local and headed to Grassington.

Nice little walk along the river; this blip was just before Ghaistrill's Strid. It looks like it's raining in this picture, but it seems to be the sunlight on the moving water that's caused this illusion.

It was a really short walk, enjoyable but short.

Back to Grassington for lunch. Grassington is lovely but I really don't like it there. I can't walk slow, I think I'm incapable of doing it. Every time I try my legs don't agree and they march off at 'normal + 50%', but the Grassington pavements are only designed for the width of 1.5 people. Very thin acrobatic people who should be in a circus.

Don't get me wrong, if I get caught behind a coach load of 'Warners' tourists I don't get mad at all. Not one bit. I accept it's me who has the problem as I play the real life equivalent of Frogger and try to get round them without getting knocked down by Champagne Coloured Toyota Avensis's (Avensii?). I hate those more than Grassington, but that's another day.

Anyway - lovely lunch and then home!
