After a bad start to the day (Oliver waking up a wee bit grunpy), we decided to head out somewhere a bit different. So, after a quick browse online, we found this place, a traditional themed fun fair with good old fashioned steam powered rides.

To carry on the traditional theme, we set off in the car - mobile phone free, and for Olivers benefit, DS free. Well, we thought it would make him appreciate life in the good old days.

I took loads of photos - so much that I need to put the camera battery on charge. I particularly liked this one as it is so relevant these days. This country has such a skills shortage and with so many people out of work, something needs to be done. Perhaps a leaf could be taken from the many people who work here - all volunteers - continuing to maintain a good old trade.

This place isn't cheap to visit, but is still worth a good look around.
