The Willow Tea Rooms

I was meeting two of my best friends at the cinema today. After buying our tickets we decided to head down to The Willow Tea Rooms for tea and cake. As you can imagine it was lunchtime and it was packed out with tourists, families and ladies who do lunch.

Finally seated ... we made our orders quickly, there was tea with gingerbread. Coffee with a scone ... and I? I had a glass of Scotland's other national drink and a really cool cake with fresh cream. What it was ... I can't tell you ...

Whether I'm right or meringue ... I know one thing ...
