Limassol Bay
We went over to the far side of the peninsula to see what the bay looked like. In reality the water was the colour that was called "Mediterranean Blue" in the watercolour paint box that I had as a kid, this hasn't really come out that well.
The new port where the cruise ships and container ships dock can be seen in the picture are to the west of the old town. Behind are some of the villages which have become suburbs as the concrete jungle grows.
At this time of the year, especially on a windy weekday, the beach is virtually deserted and it's a nice place to be.
A number of pictures to choose from today, but I liked this one the most...although the blip of the scoreline from Subiaco nearly won out! Go the mighty baby Blues!
