Natural confusion ?
When a friend mentioned that his magnolia tree was having a second flowering, I was surprised. I didn't know that this was possible. He was also puzzled.
When I got home, I looked out of the window - no beautiful pink blooms. But today, as I wandered around with the camera in search of a blip, I did find buds, springtime, springlike buds .........
Do they flower twice in a normal year ? Or are they as bemused as the rest of us at the mysteries of climate chanage ?
