Spartacus, winter squash and carrots
Our Dahlia 'Spartacus' (apparently a rather new variety, on the market since 1993) looked gorgeous today. In the background you can see our carrots, our 'hubbard' winter squashes and our allotment cottage (shed).
A busy day - we were trimming the privet hedge, mowing the lawns and planting perennials that we got from T&J yesterday. We had loads of fun!
Rather windy today and around +18°C. Just before we left the allotment we had a rain shower.
