During Ramadam...

...things happen slowly, irritably and far from inevitably.

Take, for example, being picked up by a bus that drives down your road, only to find out that the bus has take a detour (for no apparent reason) that cuts out your road and then later zooms past you on the other side - with no indication of stopping. Then, when finally admitting being in the wrong, eventually turning around, driving down correct road whilst the driver flicks his hand, as if swatting a fly, to indicate that you're indeed invited onto the school's mode of transport in order to get to school.
