Lunch

Made a feast of leek & potato soup, rolls with ham or chicken, fruit scones, Victoria sponge with homemade jam and butter cream and Tiffin. This was all because my big brother and his brood were supposed to be coming but unfortunately he woke up with a swollen hand after he broke up a disagreement between two of his boys yesterday. One trip to A&E later and he has a stookie on with a broken bone in the back of his left hand. Poor bro! Nothing we could do but serve the lunch anyway, won't need to cook for the rest of the day!

Planning on a quiet afternoon now with knitting and tea drinking, and maybe just one more slice of cake.
