Amsterdam

Sometimes I miss living in the Netherlands. Time "outside" here in the US is often spent in the car, going from parking lot to parking lot. There is no walking on the sidewalk, no downtown shopping, no being among people. Spending a day by yourself while being "outside" almost feels like some sort of loneliness.

Today was one of those days that I just wanted to be among people, walking between old buildings, feeling the European atmosphere.

During one of our visits to Amsterdam we bought some drawings of this capital. They're hanging in the computer room, and looking at them made my day a bit better.
