After Irene

Fortunately Irene passed in the night through the lower Cape Fear region without making herself too much of a nuisance. Our power went out about 6:00 am this morning and returned at about 1:30 PM. Nothing melted in the refrigerator and our well insulated house remained cool. Our yard is full of small branches and pine cones, but that's it. Hopefully, she will ease her way up the coast in the same fashion. Thanks to everyone for the well-wishes.
