Rain drops are falling on my head...

Lots of activity from hurricane Irene, which is slamming our East Coast at this time and wrecking all sorts of havoc.

We're to the west of Washington, DC, so less affected than people just 20 mi east of us. I saw people at the store today, buying enough toilet paper to last them (and their descendents) for a couple a centuries... My purchases included brie, baguettes and a couple of nice bottles of wine. Maybe I'm missing something? :)

Decided to get up close and personal with Irene and feature one of her drops of rain today. I never realised how incredibly difficult it is to photograph drops in the middle of a downpour...
