Little Princess

Took a half day from work today as I had a hospital appointment in the afternoon - it was my 12 week scan and everything is fine, so H is going to be a big sister. She seems quite happy with the idea (or what she understands of it) and keeps stating "mummy's baby in mummy's tummy" at any opportunity.

She is enjoying wearing her crown and pretending to be Princess H at the moment. She is also back to wearing sleepsuits which is a bit strange as she has been wearing pyjamas for about a year. But since she is now using a proper duvet rather than a sleeping bag and the weather has turned a bit colder, we thought a sleepsuit would keep the heat in a bit better if she kicks the duvet off.
However, as she was refusing to wear the sleepsuit we have renamed it a "jumpsuit". H loves bouncing on our bed, and seems to have accepted that she is allowed to jump for a while before bedtime if she wears her "jumpsuit". It's ingenious really and it's saving us a battle every night! It's like having my baby girl back!
