Levi

I went to Charleton Village Fete this afternoon with sarah and her son Oscar, there was a dog show so of course Levi joined in the fun... he got a 3rd. I took 168 photos but levi want to show you his winnings..( this photo was taken this evening at home)
After the fete we went on to Andrew´s Wood which is a woods and grassland, over a system of fields originally farmed by the villagers . in the past it was known as Stanton Moor. The grassland areas of Andrew's Wood are of particular importance because they support Britain's largest colony of the heath lobelia - a rare plant with beautiful pinky-purple flowers.( I did take some photos of these too)

you can see the Heath Iobelia by going to http://www.flickr.com/photos/cheralyn-owens/6087118818/in/photostream
