Stained Glass Window
After yesterday's excitement I went for a quiet walk around Hamble this afternoon and had a look around St. Andrews Priory Church. This Norman Church is steeped in history with lots of blip opportunities but I particularly liked the way the sun cast a reflection of this window on the wall below the belfry (you can just see the spiral staircase on the left)
If you look in large you can see that it was dedicated to the memory of Doris Wheeler in 2000, but the upper window has re-used Saxon mouldings.
I just loved the colours, especially the daffodils at the bottom right.
