Yellow eaves

The sun's last light in this narrow street, after a lovely day in the garden with friends to lunch - tapas: jambon cru, aubergines, tapenade, red peppers, potatoes cooked with onion, garlic and peppers, followed by mussels in tomato and chorizo sauce, goats' cheese and fruit. But I didn't take any photos because I was too busy talking, eating and drinking, so just managed to catch the evening light back in the village.

Yesterday's storm brought cooler weather, but no thunder and lightning, and for a couple of hours in the evening temperatures about 20 degrees lower than we'd had earlier in the week. It was warmer again today and perfect for lunch outside sheltered from the north wind in our garden.
