Landfall in North Carolina, much outside prep to still do, it'd very dark, on the verge of rain. I'll write more later, Hurricane Irene has been downgraded to a Cat 1, hopefully many will be spared some of Nature's great force. It's still serious and NYC is really buttoning up like never before.
