Have mentioned Alex Zhang Hungtai AKA Dirty Beaches before in my journals. Muffled lo-fi rockabilly via Taiwan via Canada. There's something about it that really appeals. New single coming out soon, limited 7" vinyl naturally. Already linked to that elsewhere, so here's a little live clip of your man in action. Possibly not for everyone, but we're all grown-ups, each to their own, and it'd be awfully boring if we all liked the same thing after all.
