The Golden Hour

This was taken just on sunset tonight out in the Taiko Valley. Dups (my friend that is wearing a golden crown this week) & I have had a busy day, hosting three judges, 2 from Dunedin and one local to judge the National Bowron & Chance Landscape Competitions (sets of 4 entered by clubs). It went very well and as there was a little time late afternoon two of the judges and us went for a little photo shoot.....I only had my 50mm so really wasn't set up for landscapes....the light was very golden and warm.

A lovely dinner and evening followed, the only downer was our All Blacks going down to Australia 25 - 20...the better team won.


Its 12.45am, so now off to get some Zzzzzz
