Kestrel
The day started off wet and dark.
We had dog-walking duty to do and I slung my trusty Pentax over my shoulder optimistically as we trudged off down to the river.
I captured a marsh harrier but he was too far away and the light was awful. The river bank was muddy and the channel choked with Broads Cruisers.
The sun came out as we returned and this fellow literally fell out of the sky, the camera was still set at ISO 1600 so it's a bit noisy, and I had to crop him out of the background, but still....
I also got a grump looking bull, two young heron's and a swan and her 5 cygnets.
The sun is up now and it's quite hot in North Suffolk, the dog's are snoring and Grampy is sneezing. Roo and Nanna have gone for the makings of tonights curry.
If Ipswich draw with Leeds we can call it a good day.
